A triangular love story may ensue between political parties in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While Jana Sena has silently supported the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the state elections, the TRS is now making an effort to support YSR Congress and show its love for Andhra Pradesh, ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in 2019.
What unites the Jana Sena Party, TRS and the YSRCP is a common enemy – Telugu Desam Party. With TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao openly announcing that they will involve in AP elections, Jana Sena which is a fledgling party in Andhra Pradesh will not shy away from seeking TRS’ support. In fact, with YSRCP too openly asking Telangana people not to vote for TDP, it has sent clear signals to TRS that it is interested in the pink party’s friendship.
Of late, however, YSRCP Chief Jaganmohan Reddy’s comments on JSP founder Pawan Kalyan have not gone down well among people. The tussle between the two parties has been continuing and this could damage both of them eventually if they do not stop this mudslinging and focus on the upcoming elections.
With both YSRCP and Jana Sena looking for a common friend in TRS, it will not be surprising to see both the political parties turn friends from being foes. If KCR decides to bring them onto a single platform to fight their common enemy, the politics in AP will take an interesting turn!
